• A Pet Peeve of Mine

  One of my biggest pet peeves-I keep reading and heard from people saying how they are maggots and say that Slipknot sucks and Vol. 3 and All Hope is Gone is $h!t. They call Slipknot sell outs and posers because of these albums and how they act now. They don't set themselves on fire anymore or Sid doesn't stage dive so they say he's a poser. This drives me crazy. I always debate with them. Their logic is idiotic and pathetic. First of all they are not maggots because they are not being respectful of the Nine nor of other maggots that feed off of any music Slipknot makes. There's a difference between saying I don't like that album and those albums are $h!t. Slipknot worked hard to make those albums for us fans. Those are actually my all time favorite albums. I think, like all Slipknot albums are masterpieces. Also it is wrong and disrespectful to call them posers. They keep all the major themes from their original albums and just keep adding more amazing elements. Why would you want the exact same music from the last album. If you want that, then listen to that album. When I want some brutality I'll listen to disasterpiece ,when I want a more melodic song I'll listen to Circle, when I want something heavy and beautiful I'll listen to Snuff, when I just want an adrenaline rush I'll listen to Eeyore, etc. I'm not saying you should say you like something if you don't, that's fine otherwise it's a lie, but don't be disrespectful to people, especially Slipknot, who were once your heroes. I know they are mine. Stay (sic)! Take Care!

• Favorite Albums

  My favorite album of all time is All Hope is Gone, not just Slipknot. Though lately for the past 7 months all I have listened to is Slipknot and Stone Sour. I have all the special editions of all the albums both Slipknot and Stone Sour and can't get enough. If I had order my favorite albums of all time by all artists all seven of these albums would be to the top 7. I can't arrange them in order from greatest to least, except for All Hope is Gone being my favorite, because It's just to hard. I love them all, but there are times where I can't listen to one of them, except All Hope is Gone. It has every emotion possible or at least that I have experienced so I listen to it whenever. For an example if I'm really happy I usually listen to Vol. 3 or Come What(ever) May! When I'm feeling down I listen to Iowa, though Vol. 3 would help and probably make me feel happier, like if I listen to Duality, however sometimes I need to turn that sadness to aggression, so I listen to Iowa. Don't get me wrong, I don't get mad when I listen to Iowa, it just makes me feel empowered so I can take the crap I have to deal with, whether it be my crappy health or school. Self-Titled Slipknot helps me when I'm stressed out and or feeling like I'm going to snap. Kinda same deal with Iowa. Now the Self-Titled Stone Sour album, like All Hope is Gone has a little bit of everything too in terms of emotions, so I listen to both those albums for every emotion. Don't get me wrong I'll listen to these albums whatever emotion I feel, it's just these are the times where they help me the most. Corey's lyrics help me a lot in life. I spend quite some time analyzing each song. I never get sick of any of them I love them all. These are the only albums, I can honestly say I never skips tracks on. They are all masterpieces. Not only are they entertaining, but also very fun to analyze because they have so much content to them. Anyways if any of you maggots have comments or your opinions please share them.
